• Stage resources at the hand-in or build site before triggering final timers, wildlife waves, or extraction travel.

Preparation

• Start with a bedroll, campfire or shelter kit, oxygen and water storage, bandages, splints, and enough food to cover the full route.
• Assign one player to navigation and one to resource accounting so the crew does not duplicate long hauls or miss a delivery line.
• Use the loadout list below as the minimum kit, then add mission-specific tools before launch.

Hazards and controls

• No special hazard is recorded, so default to storm shelter, wound treatment, spare tools, and enough ammunition for unexpected predators.
• Long travel remains the risk: mark caves, water, and emergency shelter locations as you move.

Execution checklist

• On landing: locate water, set a respawn point, and confirm the first objective marker before building a permanent base.

//BACKGROUND: The Riverlands biome offers rich new prospecting grounds, but has remained largely unexplored due to its remote and inaccessible location.
//MISSION: Find a way into the Riverlands, and erect a locational beacon so UDA can begin scaling up development of this region.
//TERMS: The Contractor acknowledges and undertakes all risks associated with travel into an unexplored zone. Large scale construction may be required to surmount geographic obstacles.
Can be started in an Olympus Open World as an Operation - requires the C0NT4CT Device and the Infrasonic Relay Upgrade.

• Collect beacon from the supply crate
  • Travel to the map location (M)
  • Collect equipment
• Construct a way over the rock barrier
• (Optional) Open the Escape Menu and Request a Mission Resupply if your mission equipment is lost
• Reach the transmission zone (M)
• Deploy beacon in the transmission zone (M)

Hints & tips

A combination of Larkwell Martinez Tachyon Armor, Kickfall Modules, a Survival Backpack, and the talent can remove the need to build a way down the rock barrier blocking the entrance into the Riverlands. Bring a Sinotai Dropship Recall Beacon to save yourself the trip back to your dropship.
The Riverlands, a Region on Olympus, is harder than the Forest; be ready to face higher level fauna.
