Objective approach

No per-difficulty item manifest is recorded for this guide. Follow the on-screen tracker, then use the notes below to decide what to stage before committing to the final hand-in.

  • Read the objective tracker after every major interaction; many ICARUS prospects reveal the next step only after the current one completes.
  • Stage resources at the hand-in or build site before triggering final timers, wildlife waves, or extraction travel.
  • If the guide has a manifest above, build the Hard list first when possible; it covers lower-difficulty planning and avoids under-packing.
  • Keep the return route open. A finished objective still fails the run if the crew cannot safely reach the dropship or delivery pod.

Preparation

  • Start with a bedroll, campfire or shelter kit, oxygen and water storage, bandages, splints, and enough food to cover the full route.
  • Assign one player to navigation and one to resource accounting so the crew does not duplicate long hauls or miss a delivery line.
  • Use the loadout list below as the minimum kit, then add mission-specific tools before launch.

Hazards and controls

  • Severe weather / storms.: plan a countermeasure before leaving the initial safe zone; do not wait until the tracker sends you across-map.

Execution checklist

  • Before drop: confirm prerequisite unlocks, mission timer, loadout, and who carries shared deployables.
  • On landing: locate water, set a respawn point, and confirm the first objective marker before building a permanent base.
  • Mid-run: consolidate loot and mission items at one marked cache; keep one repair kit and medical stack on each player.
  • Before extract: verify every optional delivery, reward unlock, and follow-up objective is complete before leaving orbit-side cargo behind.

Briefing

CONDUCT MULTI-POINT STUDY
//OPERATOR: ACS
//BIOME: Riverlands
//BACKGROUND: The Operator requires a long term survey be conducted at an area of interest. This mission will provide critical data about the long term weather patterns in this area.
//MISSION: Locate, deploy and shelter multiple scanning devices around the area to collect data. The more devices you are able to keep active, the quicker you'll complete the mission.
//TERMS: Contractors will be provided with scanning equipment. All other risk and resourcing is the responsibility of the contractor. Expect elevated weather threats.

Objectives

Conduct a Longterm Survey

  • Locate the device drop
  • Survey Progress: 0% Est. 999 Minutes
  • Deploy Multiple Devices To Speed up Scanning
    • Deploy sheltered device near Alpha
    • Deploy sheltered device near Beta
    • Deploy sheltered device near Gamma
    • Deploy sheltered device near Delta

Hints & tips

  • Each beacon deployed reduces the time taken for the survey to complete
    • 0 Beacons: 999 hours
    • 1 Beacon: 6 hours
    • 2 Beacons: 3 hours
    • 3 Beacons: 2 hours
    • 4 Beacons: 1.5 hours
  • You can deploy the beacon in a sheltered building anywhere within the orange circle on the map for each zone.
  • Storm activity is generally light, however, it is recommended you build the shelters for the beacons out of wood at least.
  • Sleeping does not speed up the time the survey takes.
  • If a beacon loses it's sheltered status, it will stop working until the shelter is fixed. The time increase from it stopping is proportional to how much time is left.

Recommended loadout

  • Weapon each + shared ammo pool
  • Bedroll, campfire kit, 3× bandage each
  • Food for the full day count, water containers
  • Repair tools + spare pick/axe
