Preparation

INVESTIGATE THE DISTURBANCE AT THE MINING OUTPOST

Walkthrough

Prospectors are dispatched to investigate reports of missing miners at an outpost in the Grassy Plains region. Upon arrival, the outpost shows signs of a violent attack — damaged structures, scattered equipment, and no surviving personnel. The investigation reveals that a previously unidentified species of Rock Golem has emerged from underground, attacking the miners and destroying their operation.
Prospectors must search the outpost for clues, examine the damage patterns, and track the creatures responsible. The evidence points to a new subterranean threat that has begun surfacing in the area, setting the stage for the entire Quarrite Great Hunt chain.

Hints & tips

• This is the introductory mission for the Quarrite chain. It sets up the story and introduces Rock Golem encounters. Expect moderate difficulty.
• Search the outpost thoroughly. Clues are scattered across the site — missing some may leave gaps in the narrative.
• Bring mining-tier weapons. The Rock Golems encountered here are smaller than the alpha but still dangerous. Steel or titanium weapons recommended.
• 30-day time limit gives plenty of room. Use the generous timer to establish a forward base near the outpost before investigating.
• Exotic deposits spawn on this mission. Take advantage of the extended time to mine exotics alongside the objectives.
• Ensure you are well prepared for combat.
