Objective approach

No per-difficulty item manifest is recorded for this guide. Follow the on-screen tracker, then use the notes below to decide what to stage before committing to the final hand-in.

  • Read the objective tracker after every major interaction; many ICARUS prospects reveal the next step only after the current one completes.
  • Stage resources at the hand-in or build site before triggering final timers, wildlife waves, or extraction travel.
  • If the guide has a manifest above, build the Hard list first when possible; it covers lower-difficulty planning and avoids under-packing.
  • Keep the return route open. A finished objective still fails the run if the crew cannot safely reach the dropship or delivery pod.

Preparation

  • Start with a bedroll, campfire or shelter kit, oxygen and water storage, bandages, splints, and enough food to cover the full route.
  • Assign one player to navigation and one to resource accounting so the crew does not duplicate long hauls or miss a delivery line.
  • Use the loadout list below as the minimum kit, then add mission-specific tools before launch.

Hazards and controls

  • Poison / toxic gas.: plan a countermeasure before leaving the initial safe zone; do not wait until the tracker sends you across-map.

Execution checklist

  • Before drop: confirm prerequisite unlocks, mission timer, loadout, and who carries shared deployables.
  • On landing: locate water, set a respawn point, and confirm the first objective marker before building a permanent base.
  • Mid-run: consolidate loot and mission items at one marked cache; keep one repair kit and medical stack on each player.
  • Before extract: verify every optional delivery, reward unlock, and follow-up objective is complete before leaving orbit-side cargo behind.

Walkthrough

The Final Hunt. Track and defeat the alpha Rock Golem — the largest and most powerful specimen. This is the climactic boss fight of the Quarrite Great Hunt chain.
This is the climactic conclusion of the Quarrite Great Hunt chain. The Rock Golem is the most dangerous creature in this chain, featuring:

  • Massively increased health pool compared to regular specimens
  • Unique attack patterns not seen in earlier chain missions
  • Environmental hazards in the boss arena
  • Potential for multiple combat phases
    Preparation
  • Bring your best gear. Tier 4 weapons and armor at minimum; Tier 5 strongly recommended.
  • Stack food buffs. Maximum health, stamina regeneration, and damage bonuses make a significant difference.
  • Bring healing consumables. Bandages, healing salves, and anti-venom (if applicable) are essential.
  • Build a forward base nearby. Place a bedroll and basic crafting station near the boss arena for respawn safety.
  • Co-op is recommended. The Final Hunt bosses are balanced for multiplayer. Solo kills require exceptional gear and skill.

Quarrite Campaign

Hints & tips

  • The arena:
    • Is located near the oasis in D12
    • Is dark, bringing a light source is recommended. If you bring a bow, Flare Arrows can work too.
    • Is split into 4 small sections, all branching from the main section. After dealing a percentage of damage the boss will destroy the rock barrier and move to another section briefly.
  • Careful if you are about to die to something, do not die in the other cave sections (other than the main section), try to die in the main room or your corpse/loot may get stuck behind a barrier and you will need to progress the fight again to get to it.
  • HIGHLY Recommended you have unlocked the Prototype Drill Arrow from the Prototype campaign mission.
  • Bullets can ricochet off the carapace of the boss. If you plan to use bullets anyway, use explosive rounds
    Unstable Quarrite Traits
  • Critical Area: None
  • Weak to Poison
  • Weak to Mining Damage
  • Resists Fire
  • Armored
  • Bullets Ricochet

  • Bring gear and eat food buffs that provide +X% Projectile Damage
    • ST-700 Armor from the Workshop
    • Soy Bean Stir-Fry, Stew, Shepherd's Roll
    • Shepherd's Roll will require you to call in and farm Kumara from the Workshop or complete SMPL3 quests.
  • Use gear and food that provide Stamina and Stamina Regen
    • Explorer Backpack from the Workshop
    • Beer or Wine
  • Suit Slots:
  • Recommended to use the Larkwell Martinez Compound Bow or Compound Bow
  • Ammo:
    • Recommended is the Larkwell Martinez Ballistic Arrows and the Prototype Drill Arrows
    • You can try to use the Inaris "Biana" Arrows or Miasmic Arrows if using the Shengong CZ4 Bow or Compound Bow. (Still bring Prototype Drill Arrows)
  • Consumables:
    • Bring Health Recovery Elixirs for emergency healing
    • Bring Suture Kits in-case you need one.
